What does happen if you use your orginal software to the card this to me sounds like an disk that is going in PIO mode or even fragmented but its hard to tell does the recording work well with technotrends orginal software ?

I found out why "volumecontrol" and all the other short commands "die" it
has to do with "timeshifting" sometimes it dies if i move the ts slider or enter
the "file -> time shift display" i got no clue what is going on its an job for Prog i guess...

I also have an videomate card (s-350) i have not found any plugins
that would work with the ir reciever (if i had the knowledge i would write it)

But i use winlirc (as infact earlier i built my own remote controlled power on function) i think if you search for "wake on lirc" you will find an german ...

What i mostly meant was if you have plugins like "diseqc" try atleast to point the dish at one satellite ex. astra 19.2e and try to disable the plugins and see if progdvb gets more stable didnt say that you should disable them for all the future but lets say if you disable all and it then works and ...
