Windows 8 is in a very early state, still far from being ready.
Even the driver models are subject to changes at any time, and so may be compilers and frameworks.
Won't really make sense, to patch an existing application for an OS that is under heavy development.

Did you test the original application on your system?
Just wondering, if a WDM driver might work properly on a x64 system.
Else perhaps look for a BDA driver on the manufacturer site.

Perhaps you should both make a good photo of your tuners and upload each somewhere, to make it available here.

AFAIK, hauppauge used several different hardware concepts for their Nova-T models, based on different chipsets.
Of course, tuner handling depends on that hardware, specially if it's about ...

The name of the installation folder is irrelevant, you can chose whatever you like.
Just stay outside of all special folders, that are protected by modern Windows, more or less.

For technical reasons, I am mainly using pretty old versions of ProgDVB, until my coming up new machine will be complete.
So I had not yet noticed that changes

Auto disappearing is a bad idea, as temporary stations may exist without a place holder, though returning frequently.

But regional stations quite often change streams for local transmissions, so auto update may be a must, to view your local transmissions.
There are lots of examples for this on ...

Auto mode may be wrong sometimes, specially on OEM and rebranded hardware.
That's the reason why you can select manually.

Gigabyte are known for making fine PCBs (and more), but they don't develop chipsets or tuner concepts.
I may say so, as I had been working for them some time ago.

Sorry, for reasons not to be mentioned here now, I don't use internet TV with ProgDVB at the time.
That's why I don't really know how to set up ProgDVB for a stream like that.

Exactly.
But what else to do, with your special hardware of one-and-a-half tuners?
The original software surely knows about what hardware components are shared, and what are (to be controlled) separate.
Without a full SDK (or sources) for that device, Prog probably can't do all to much...

From website to ProgDVB, this would mean, the website would have to send IP-TV. Then ProgDVB should be able to receive it as such.

But do you own a (IP)TV station? Or is this about streams off a security cam, or anything else?

Perhaps a "don't ask me again" option would be helpful there...

At least this would be far bettr, than installing ProgDVB twice, to different places andwith different settings, and having to maintain both and avoid using both at the same time (like by the scheduler)...
