NIT is transported along with the audio and video streams on each transponder. Means, if you can't tune properly, you can't read the NIT. Reason is the idea of external editing and conversion to formats for / from other applications or devices.

Ever tried google? One of the first results for "divx aac" leads to http://www.divx.com/en/software/divx-plus/codec-pack/aac BTW, you would then have to type precisely. For example, searching for "divx cdex" won't help you at all. There's no boolean equivalent for almost :roll:
