Hi,

We noticed that progtv has issues when you press channel up or down fast. When error occurs the channel that is being displayed is incorrect and keeps on pixelating or pixelated. A specific channel that is being shown is not anymore correct if we switch fast enough from one channel to the next.

We check the Switch Hub IGMP and seems to be working well. Kindly check if it was able to send IGMP leave messages successfully during fast channel switching. It seems that the Switch Hub wasn't able to receive the IGMP leave messages during this kind of event.

Of course ProgDVB/ProgTV leave message after channel. I check this many times. May be too fast for your hardware/provider? In logs 200ms between drop and add commands.

I am recommend try other playback mode. Fast switches is crash test for any player.

I suggest the application to not switch too fast to prevent hang-up. The software should be able monitor the number of currently opened streams or playing videos. If the applications detects that it wasn't able to release the last video, it should delay opening the next channel for around 300 ms or even more.

This is just a suggestion to improve your software. We are worried that if the program has so many bugs, the IPTV client will not like it. The application should not exit or hang-up if possible. ProgTV is currently being tested for bugs before they can finally make the recommendation to the admin.

By the way, regarding the customization, yesterday and today is weekend and no work. I cannot confirm in the office yet.

Are you sure about multicast? What links format?

the service that I use Is 'NitroTV' and load the channels in the xtreamcodes option.
