i tried openmax and mediaplayer+, both have issues. Have to retry to be sure, but I think mediaplayer+ used to be on sync.

Yes, in both modes impossible 100% sync subs.

i was wrong, its not delayed, subtitles are about 3 seconds earlier than sound.
cant you add a delay or some adjustable setting?
(other apps are in sync)

delay in both modes is random. Possible 3 seconds but after one house possible -1 second. Try Mediacodec.

There's no Mediacodec option on MiBox, just ffmpeg, mediaplayer, mediaplayer+, omx.awesome* and OpenMax
The only ones that works for my stream are mediaplayer+ and openmax ( and mediaplayer without subtitle )

omx.* is media codec. ffmpeg good also but slow on half channels.

There's another "problem" you might want to take a look, the stream you recorded is showing two subtitles (unknown#3 and Portuguese), but there's really only one (Portuguese)

hi, found out that only the channels that had that original problem of subtitle not showing, are not in sync, all the others are in perfect sync (using openmax )
whats different in that channel? can they use the same sync method ?
i can get you access again if you need!
thanks!

sorry to insist, but if there's no difference, I wouldn't have to open this thread at all.
please, take another look when you can.

Do you try mediacodec mode?

99% of my channels are ac3, i think that's limiting the codecs that work, but i tried every possible method here.
( ffmpeg, omx.somethin, mplayer, mplayer+, openmax)

Its very weird, seems like subtitles are not buffering like audio and video, and they always end up before the right time.

As a comparison, kodi always have perfect sync, but image are very bad rendered when using mediacodec (half resolution), when using amcodec kodi renders ok, but image freezes sometimes.

amlogic? Send me logs of not sync subtitles in openmax. In amlogic really bad mediacodec but some addition api for time.

yes, amlogic.. (mibox international)
These are the logs of two channels, the first channel subtitles are way ahead, the second channel they are delayed.
