I know there are options to bind keys for things like next channel, previous channel, last channel, history, etc. Is it possible to add an option for search to be able to bind a key that would go straight to search? I would find this extremely helpful.

What search you mean?

Thanks for the reply. I mean when searching for a channel name. While watching, you can press Menu>Search and start typing a channel name and it narrows the list of channels as you type. I just think it would be more convenient to access this search with a single button press.

What key you like bind? Any number or search button on RC must enable this mode.

Mute button for example, or something else. I use a Fire Stick and unfortunately, the remote does not have number buttons or a dedicated search button.

Hm. How you plan enter search text? mouse?

It brings up an on-screen keyboard and I just use the arrow keys to select the letters, or I can input with voice.
