Hello,
my setup
- Hauppauge TV card, DVB-S
- Newes ProgDVB version
- Windows 10, 64bit
- recording .ts files to E:/
I sometimes record tv shows, When I enter driver path E:\, windows 10 searches a long time for all files. And when I want to delete recorded files it also take much more time than usual. I did some testing, this only happens when recoded files are on my hard disc.
Re: Windows 10 searches recorded videos for a long time
#2I am author of windows search function and not can help. But may be depended from installed codec.
Re: Windows 10 searches recorded videos for a long time
#3I think the video files that progdvb creates might be damaged.
Currently, Windows 10 can't list any file in the folder where the recored videos are stored.

Re: Windows 10 searches recorded videos for a long time
#6Problem not in SDD/HDD. Problem in codecs of windows 10. Try install LAV as default codecs for all formats.
Re: Windows 10 searches recorded videos for a long time
#7LAV is installed. Also ffpmeg direct show filters. I think ProgDVB creats corrupt video files.
Re: Windows 10 searches recorded videos for a long time
