Hi, I just bought your software, all is fine excepting that I can't start progdvdservice.exe ... even when trying to start it manually, it won't and stop right away.
So I must keep PrgDVB running if I want to schedule recordings.

I'm on WIN10 Pro ...

Any idea why ?

Hm. Try start with admin rights. Same?

if I try to manually start ProgDvbService.exe with admin rights, it tells me It fails
If I go into the task manager udner the services tabs, it always shows as 'stopped'
and if I try to start it, bim, it directly stops.

If I go to the services manager and try to start it from there, it tell me it started and then stopped.
by the way I use ProgDVB Network Edition x64 7.26.08

I only installed the x64 version in 'portable' mode if this may help you...

Try enable logs and send me after start of service. I am not remember about problems with portable mode but you can try install normal way also.

I tried to reinstall the x64 network version in regular mode (not portable) but it's the same.

Do you start service from ProgDVB? No error about service.

In the options/Scheduler, I've chosen 'Use ProgDVB Service for recording without start of UI', but it never starts (always listed as stopped in the services list).
And as shown, I can't even start the service manually.

What error in logs of windows? Event View ->Windows->System
In any case you can reinstall ProgDVB with enabled Service in Installer options.

The service don't start since V. 7.25.x
Recently I use V. 7.23.01
