Re: bug feedback - post newly found progdvb bugs here

Ok ... i tried ProgDVB x86 ... the same problem exist.
But i figured out what is the problem exactly. I always disable the option "Single click channel select". This what cases the problem. If the option is checked no problems at all.

That is, double clicking the "Most Popular Channels List" has a problem. would you kindly please consider checking that event in your code?

Thanks,

OK - I have found the last working version for Diseqc 1.0 4-port with Skystar 1-CI (Twinhan) PCI under XP SP3 + .NET 3.5SP1 x32

Using the versions available at update-progdvb.com I have found that

6.46.6Std x32 OK
---
6.47.x missing from update-progdvb.com
---
6.48Std x32 FAIL

The following versions higher than 6.48 also fail in the same manner

6.48.4Std x32
6.49.7Std x32
6.50.1Std x32
6.51.2Std x32
6.51.6Std x32
6.60.xStd x32

Hope this helps

ProgDVB v6.60.7

Bug = PIP Close Window Issue

Hi Prog,

there is a problem when using the PIP function, so here is :

when i get for example two channels as a PIP and i choose to close the first opened channel ProgDVB closes itself, and sometimes freeze or other things that may happen?! because channels that i've opened in PIP didn't work after the problem was accured,

Hope that you fix it soon ;)

and just a little thing if possible (i think it will be easy for the user) :
when you group the opened channels as PIP, just align the ALL page to be the first to be accessed easy
and not to be in the middle of channels;

Example :

[Channel_1][Channel_2][Channel_3][ALL][Channel_4]

so this figure will be easy i think :

[ALL] [Channel_1][Channel_2][Channel_3][Channel_4]

Good Luck!

I copied these two files from version 6.46.6 to modules folder of 6.60.7.

This is a fix. Thank you.

My card is VP-1030C clone. PCI ids are

VEN_109E&DEV_0878&SUBSYS_00011822&REV_11 for capture

Salut, this is my first post here,

i use dvbviewer, dvblink, dvbdream( from my tuner), progdvb, sagetv
Unfortunely ProgDvb,SageTV,Dvbdream is the most unstable software from all of that, but ProgDVB is the king of unstable software.

When i navigate through the menu, mouse is slugish, menu freeze, when i want to scan ch progdvb freeze, when i watch live-tv image freeze also.

Dvbviewer and Dvblink is almost perfect....

I like ProgDvb interface but ..boy... do something about these bugs.

Sometimes with THE SAME SETTINGS, ProgDVB does not find all the ch, sometimes it find them all.

Also, every time i start ProgDVB an windows appear, with RESET settings, even if i choose something , this window still appear.
When i am in Progdvb, and freeze appear, and close software, IF i start Dvbviewer, Dvbdream, etc, my tuner is not found.
I think that ProgDVB catch my tuner, and does not let go. I am force to restart computer.
I tried uninstall , restart again, no go, i tried STABILITY MODE, still the same.
Latest version is full of bugs, previous, from summer or so, was somehow good compare to latest.
I think ProgDVB must be test better before they release to users.

When Progdvb freeze, i see this in event:

The description for Event ID 54 from source USB28xxBGA cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

USB28xxBGA is from my tuner, i have Terratec Cinergy HTC USB XS HD
http://www.terratec.net/en/products/Cin ... 57290.html
Terratc has 4 tuners that is the same: Cinergy HTC Stick HD, Terratec H5, H6, Terratec Cinergy HTC USB XS HD

Another error :

Faulting application name: ProgDvbNet.exe, version: 6.48.3.0, time stamp: 0x4cb7feec
Faulting module name: pthreadVC2.dll, version: 2.1.0.0, time stamp: 0x4237cab7

If we are sure that your equipment is configured correctly.(?) -
Just a program due to the large capacity, requires more resources.

Since Ver. 6.61 crashes ProgDVB if the Driver for Hauppauge WinTV 885 (Alt too) is activated.
If I Downgrade to Ver. 6.51 then ProgDVB works perfect.

My Configuration:
Windows 7 Ultimate
Hauppauge HD 4400 with Driver V. 2.3d
AMD Radeon HD 5770 Driver Ver. 11.3

reeven: Thanks for long report :) Most BDA drivers crash after crash of application. (any application). This is bug of driver and you really need reboot or wait 3-5-10 minutes. I am not can fix that, but can fix reason ProgDVB crash.
Try install without any plugins and modules at first. Also try not last version.

ps:I am not know what is "pthreadVC2.dll" may be some driver file?

Hi.

Since version 6.61.3 (I updated from 6.5x), when ProgDVB starts, my ir.exe is terminated. ir.exe is the remote control tool of my TV hardware. Once terminated, I cannot use my remote. And I cannot start ir.exe again manually, because it cannot initialize the hardware...

What makes progdvb terminate ir.exe?
I chose not to have any remote in the options, as I have always done. But no matter, what I choose. In this version. ir.exe is always terminated :(
