and there is a new Windows error

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Same problem here. I placed a similar post in bug reporting. Sorry for the double!

By the way, it happens also if you leave progdvb running for a while with no apparent reason.
Skystar HD on Core2 Duo 6420
With ProgDVB Professional of course :-)

Similar problems for me. After update of ProgDVB standard from 6.01 to 6.02 and 6.02.01 I have constant crashes. ProgDVB will run for 30 seconds to 5 minutes before I get the message "ProgDvbNet has encountered a problem and needs to close....". The video and sound continues to run if I don't close the pop up message. As soon as I try to change channel or use time shift ProgDVB freezes totally. When this happens some times the BDA-driver is also crashing and I have to reboot my PC to get it working again.

I have the same problem. Progdvb 6.02.01 crashes without a reason few minutes after start. Moreover, sound disappears when changing to full screen. Media Server and Audio Processor are disabled.

Any idea?

OK. This conversation is a little slow so I will fill in as much information as I can to speed it up. :D

WinXP professional, fully updated.

Watching FTA DVB-T with TechnoTrend with latest BDA driver

No pluggins at all.

VMR7 and VMR9. Both tested
Elecard audiodecoder.
System default directsound device.

No subtitles in the stream.
EPG in the stream.
Teletext in the stream.

Modules:
PID recorder disabled.
Prog Media Server(Home) disabled.

Device list:
BDA.Device active (Generic BDA)
ITV.Device active

Options:
Use Audio Processor, disabled.
Time Shift Buffer in memory, default values.
Scheduler, disabled.

Always parse Teletext and EPG, tested on and off.
Enable CAM interface, tested on and off.
Use only one CPU, tested both on and off.

One thing I noticed is that in pull down menu File-Properties under Filters i can find "FilterStartClock 0001" or "FilterStartClock 0002" which I have never seen before. It is not there direct at start but every time it crashes it is there.

I usually meet with the crash issue when I close ProgDVB after watching for a long time (>1 hour). Only switching TV channels during ProgDVB open is not prone to crash.

Often, during ProgDVB startup, it will halt and then crash.
