You forgot to mention any relevant technical details, like:

- what DVB tuner do you have, what driver and OS, exactly ?

- did you set up the original driver / software package, that came with your device, is it still installed and is it working?

- is there any DVB based data application running (now), that may keep your device occupied?

I’m sorry but I’ll try to tell you what you want.

- what DVB tuner do you have, what driver and OS, exactly ?
I think you mean what is written on the package it is:

- Input/output terminal: f-type 75 Ohm.
- Receiving frequency; 950 ~ 2150 MHz tuning range
- Input level: -65 ~ 25dBm
- Support standard PC and low profile PC

I don't know what do you mean when you say "what driver and OS" but I'll tell you about the type of my card “PlayTV 700 DVB-S card”

- did you set up the original driver / software package, that came with your device, is it still installed and is it working?
yes I set up the original driver/ software package, that came with the device, yes it still on my system but also it still telling me that “ device not started”

- is there any DVB based data application running (now), that may keep your device occupied?
When I faced this problem at first time there was not any based data application exist on the system, but after I tried to solve this problem several times by uninstalling and installing the original software, I downloaded another application form ProgDVB site and it only made a few channels work through internet but when I tried to use it to make channel work from satellite the massage appeared again.

As the original software also complains about "no device", there is a good chance, the drivers for it aren't installed (properly).
First check system control --> device manager
If OK there, you should find a specific device in ProgDVB --> device list, with a specific name pointing to your “PlayTV 700 DVB-S card”

What OS means what Windows version, precisely.

Internet TV does not use any component of your tuner hardware, so getting some channels there is not depending on DVB hardware and driver.

I had same error message sometimes 6.2x.x (do not remember any more witch version) but now in 6.32.08 no problems.
Have used this very long time now.. XP, Vista and now 7, Hauppauge HVR 67XX DVB-T pci card.

(when i got that error, i tried Windows Media Center and it did work with no errors, after that i opened ProgDVB and it worked too)
