ok - i got a mail from "prog".
he changed the structure from channel list once again, , that the new Progdvb channellist (4.83 - 5.x) version doesn't work anymore with ProgEdit.

I will change this in ProgEdit and do an update to "ProgEdit 2.00"
and i hope it will be ready at night.

the new version "ProgEdit 2.00" will then also compatible from 4.53 - 5.x

i would need:

1.) channels.dat (astra would be enough)
in format:
a) ProgDVB 4.53 - 4.55
b) ProgDVB 4.56 - 4.69
c) ProgDVB 4.70 - 4.82
d) ProgDVB 4.83 - 5.xx

2.) channeltree (please only 3 "favorites" with: Pro7, Sat1, RTL)
in format:
a) ProgDVB 4.53 - 4.55
b) ProgDVB 4.56 - 4.69
c) ProgDVB 4.70 - 4.82
d) ProgDVB 4.83 - 5.xx

and then send it to me per PN.

tip for having a preselected sdx import file

download the sdx files by satposition separeted to the example names or what you want

f. e. 0130.sdx 0192.sdx 0235.sdx 0282.sdx

the needed lnb order is 19,2-13-23,5-28,2

make a conv2all.bat file containig:
copy /b 0192.sdx+0130.sdx+0235.sdx+0282.sdx all.sdx
start the con2all.bat to build the all.sdx file
the all.sdx file reflects the needed lnb order and is now ready for import
without changing the lnb numbering

threre is an easier way.
generate a file with all your wished sats from auto.satcodx.com
and then import it.

PS: channel tree list -> i'm waiting for infos from Prog to finalize ProgEdit to support also the version 5.x

you are right - but the lnb order has to be changed in that case - this is not necessary with the preselectet all.sdx

f.e. selct the sat 13,19,23 and 28 and import it the order is
13 lnb 0, 19, lnb 1, 23 lnb 2, 28 lnb 3

with the preselected file the lnb order refelects the copy order

19 lnb 0, 13, lnb 1, 23, lnb 2 and 28 lnb 3

so there are 10 sec saved to change the needed lnb order

I want to import sdx files into prodvb using progedit...

can somebody tell me why sdx files are no more available in satcodx.com? Also auto.satcodx.com don´t existe any more!

Suppose, that's their very own descition...

The pages are made by the owners of a satellite magazine, as you may know.
And sometimes they like to push people into buying their papers (and CD).
For the very same reason they took the full size footprints off line some time ago.

the side auto.satcodx.com was a very good service, but as jürgen told before ...
they want to get something back....

but i'm working on it to get this online again for free (maybe then there is an 10sec publicity logo of their newspaper or whatever ....

but i think, this will be earlier online - as the stable channel format from progdvb 5, because i had there a lot of crazy structure sometimes inside, and also prog doesn't know why .... however ...
i will try 5.09 today again and i'll see whats going on there and if it is like his structure code, so that i can finish the new progedit version.

there you'll find the SDX service now again.

i also will work on ProgEdit 2.01, that the new version of ProgDVB 5.12.x is also supported.
i hope to be finish in few days (if i can found the changes of ProgDV 5.12.x ...

meh, i cant get 2.04 to work...when i start i get an error msg and when i try to load a bouquets.xml file it crashes too with an error msg.
i already installed .net 3.5, but stil lthe same probs.

here the first error:
System.ArgumentException: The currency separator information specified in the NumberFormatInfo is ambiguous for parsing.


second one when opening the xml:
System.ArgumentException: Argument 'Length' must be greater or equal to zero.

edit: here another try to open or import an xml file:

System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
