i already installed .net 3.5, but stil lthe same probs.

here the first error:
System.ArgumentException: The currency separator information specified in the NumberFormatInfo is ambiguous for parsing.

second one when opening the xml:
System.ArgumentException: Argument 'Length' must be greater or equal to zero.

edit: here another try to open or import an xml file:

System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.
you are using cable settings !

well, i haven't test it with cable tv...

i took the def's from side: http://wiki.tuxbox.org/Bouquets.xml#satellites.xml
and
http://wiki.tuxbox.org/Bouquets.xml#bouquets.xml

and i haven't seen how it is on cable tv.

it looks for me like the sat version but some differents ....

on cable:
-----------
<transponder id="2713" onid="f001" frequency="394000000" inversion="2" symbol_rate="6900000" fec_inner="0" modulation="5">
<channel service_id="c3b5" name="Fashion TV" service_type="01"/>

on sat:
--------
<cable name="Kabel Deutschland">
<transponder id="041e" onid="0001" frequency="10788000" inversion="2" symbol_rate="22000000" fec_inner="0" polarization="1">
<channel service_id="768e" name="TAQUILLA 1" service_type="01"/>

on cable there is "<cable> and a "modulation" ???? what should it be on progdvb ? do you have settings from progdvb with cable ?

on sat there is <sat> and the "polarization"

also i haven't try cable-tv on Progdvb

for that i had to be get cable settings from

also on bouquets.xml there are alos some differents ...

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<zapit>
<Bouquet type="0" bouquet_id="0001" name="ARD" hidden="0" locked="0">
<channel serviceID="6dca" name="Das Erste" tsid="044d" onid="0001"/>

"Bouquet type" ??? bouquet_id ???
and this is not define in http://wiki.tuxbox.org

so there are some open issues which i doesn't know... or maybe it is better you take another editor

maybe you can try to "clean" your bouquets.xml to the correct format.
(
old:
<Bouquet type="0" bouquet_id="0001" name="ARD" hidden="0" locked="0">

new:
<Bouquet name="ARD" hidden="0" locked="0">

and try if it works in your dbox2.

because i haven't found how it shuld be and your definition of bouquets.xml i haven't found somewhere.

maybe this is a very old format - so please try it to delete the "type" and "bouquet_id"

PLS: if you find how the definition of cable settings file (services.xml) then i will change and support also the cable settings

ok i tried to find something usefull:
my services.xml looks exactly like yours just with "modulation"

Modulation 5 means QAM256.

5 = 256-QAM
4 = 128-QAM
3 = 64-QAM
2 = 32-QAM
1 = 16-QAM
9 = Auto-Detect QAM

bouquet_id="0001" seems to sort the list, 0001 is the first one, 0002 is the next bouquet in the list and so on. i.e. My Favorites is 0001, then ARD with 0002, 0003 is Premiere Thema, etc.

there is also no "sat_position=" in cables bouquets

Bouquet type="0" seems useless for me right now, not really needed i think.

I basically just would want to completly wipe the program and start it from scratch. I remember in the first installation all channels were there and came with the installation. Somehow I had erased them and now I cant get them back.

Tried to de-install and re-install the program a couple times, but cant get the channels back. I would want the channels that come with the installation rather than the one my card finds... How do I achieve a complete new, clean install for a new TV Card?

Danke ;)

ProgDVB comes without a channel list.
It has transponder lists, that are used for scanning.

As your dish / LNB config is supposed to be user specific, a 3rd party channels list is not supposed to be helpful. Like, you decided, what bird would be first and what second. And what birds are available from your LNB(s).
Including all existing birds into a single database would make this huge,slow and fragile. And wherever on earth you are, you can never see more than around half of the Clarke belt.

Hi Jürgen, fair enough, I get that. But I remembered that I installed ProgDVB the first time, just set up my LNBs in the switch setting and had all the programs - without ever having to do a channel search / Suchlauf. Where did those come from? The must have been in the program as transponder list - I suppose that´s what I wanted to say instead of channel list... Can I get the original transponder list back somehow or at least put the program back into its state after the initial installation?

Install again, into a different folder.
Then copy and paste, whatever you need.

Or again, try joshyfun.peque.org for up-to-date transponder files.

However, I've never seen an official version of ProgDVB with a channel list inside. No idea, where you may have got that from. Normally such won't make sense.

BTW, the channel database format changes occasionally, as new functions require new or different data to be in there.
So, all channel lists are for a certain range of ProgDVB versions, only.

This morning Progdvb 64bit will not scan for channels, it freezes saying "ProgDvbNet has stopped working"

I've run last good configuration, and removed it and reinstalled it.

It works OK with the channels that come with prog, but won't scan.

OK it seems to be a bug in progdvb after ProgDVB6.63x64Pro.

i have tested all versions after ProgDVB6.63x64Pro on several PC's and they crash if i try to scan for channels.

ProgDVB6.63x64Pro and before work OK.

i use a Hauppauge WinTV v7 2.4 drivers

hope someone will look in to this thx

i also tested it on a new windows 7 64bit install

Is an update planned?

It would be nice if an add function for adding like a picture or similar for adding pictograms or similar.

Separator for EPG title and EPG info and many more.

If change the font size in OSDEpgListForm, ProgDVB can crash.
