Hi,

Is ProgDVB supposed to work with a linux receiver that offers support for streaming?

I have tried with VLC and it works very well on all channels but ProgDVB only works on some of them. For the ones where is not working (most of them) it remains with status preparing but no audio or video is displayed. The logs are attached.

There is any known workaround for this problem?

I would say that for some reason the PID's are not correctly set on the channels where is not working. Please check the screens shots.

1. Working - a channel that works very well using IP.
2. Not working - another channel that doesn't work also when using the receiving by IP. The pid's are not correctly set.
3. Same channel that is not working above this time by using a DVB card (the PID's can be seen there).

And one other clue that could be important: The linux STB has a red LED that switches on when it starts streaming. After using ProgDVB the LED remains on even if the ProgDVB application was closed. This doesn't happen with VLC (I would assume that they are sending a command to stop streaming on exit or channel change).

This is normal http/ts without sat>ip. And ProgDVB support that without problem. First channel in log not detected because some problem with pat/pmt.

Please record me 5 minutes sample of this channel.

ps: I am not use linux every day. How can help me install sat>ip server on virtual centos without device? From TS file.

Ok, then is should work as a I understand. I will record the TS streams as requested but where should I place them? Do you still have that FTP? I have not done this since 5 years ago....

I am not an expert on Linux... I got this new box a week ago pre-installed so I do not have much experience with it yet.

I have updated some of the files as it follows:

1. 0_h_0 files have been recorded using TS Recorder (all pids) => These files can be played with VLC therefore the stream is the correct one and working. Nevertheless in ProgDVB one of these streams doesn't work nor live nor as recorded file. I would say that will not be hard for you to reproduce the problem using the 0_H_0 files.

2. The ones with longer name are recorded using the recording function from ProgDVB. From these only some can be played exactly as above. These will probably be useless for you...

multifluid: One idea. Can you share me server by VPN?

seba: Some problem in PMT in this stream. You can check in any analyzer. But please do new thread. This is not SAT>IP
