Hi All.
I was using Technicat Skystar USB 2 HD CI with my PC until I updated to Win 10 PRO x64.
With windows 10 there's no way to make this USB tuner working (Win 10 BSOD on Technisat SYS file).
So I turned to a Terratec S7. This works only using Elgato driver instead of Terratec Driver (same Win 10 BSOD but on another SYS file related to Terratec).
My configuration is dual LNB Diseqc on Astra 19.2 and Hotbird 13.
Astra is working fine but Hotbird didn't see any active transponder, it seems like Diseqc is not working... With Win 7 all was ok so I assume dish and LNB are OK (I haven't any Windows 7 PC now). On Hotbird I always get Signal 0%.
I tryed to "play" with API If on BDA driver section. When I choose "Technisat" win 10 give me usual BSOD and keep looping on boot until I remove USB connection to Terratec S7. Using Microsoft, Terratec or Elgato give no differences: Astra OK, HotBird 0%.
Any idea on how to make LNB working (without BSOD)?
I have only 7 days left on ProgDVB Pro trial and I will buy a license if it works.
Please help.
Sorry for my english.
Re: Windows 10 BSOD Kernel Securty Check Fault
#2Try other USB (usb 2.0 is better). BSOD is driver crash and reason must be on driver of hardware level.
Re: Windows 10 BSOD Kernel Securty Check Fault
#3I'm on USB2.0 because I read about problem on USB3. I also tried to switch between an add-on board USB port and then on a motherboard port without success.
My real question was: why I cannot see Diseqc port 1 with 13° (HotBird) but only port 2 with 19.2° (Astra)?
Is there any know issues with Win10 and Diseqc?

#4Good news and no news.
Good news
For everyone interested on BSOD question: I found the problem. It's a BIOS setting on USB ports. It's needed to DISABLE xHCI function on USB.
With that turned off I had no more any BSOD with error "KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE".
No News
Now looking for my problem on Diseqc.

#5Very depended from tuner and api. Check mode in Settings->[device name]. I am not remember for mode good for your device.
