Check the device and drive in system control, to find out, if it's a BDA driver.

If not, you may be out of luck.

If yes, and the original software packet was installed and set up completely, there should be (at least) one specific BDA visible from ProgDVB device list, with a name, that points to your device.
Else you may not have the necessary tuning space registry entries.

prog dvb and creatix saa 7131 not working

#3
Hi!
same problem for me. Using MEDION 8800, Creatix saa 7131.
ProgDVB only finds DVB-T, not DVB-S.
Channel search no results.
Programm crashes "cannot open" , "cannot find BDA" or so
Does not close using task-manager. I have to shut down the PC

Drivers installed:
BdaPlgIn.ax
BdaSup.Sys and many more
WIN XP, SP2, german
ProgDVB5[1].12.9Std and
ProgDVB4.88Std, neither are working
no language files or codecs
reboot does not help
Original software Power Cinema is very slow, but working properly
Did not use it after booting

Thanks for a reply, or a help!!!!!
