Seems, nobody else here has such an 8 port DiSEqC switch.
Nor do I.
Nor am I using any pro version here, as I don't need it.
But I've read about someone using an 8/1 at DVBN recently, and he reported, to have had to set a 16/1 and configure properly, to make it work.

Do you blame your electrical power supplier for computer problems? How if it's your cat causing the problems, instead???

Whatever, no reason to get rude...

But basically, modern Versions of ProgDVB allow up to 16 ports on a suitable DiSEqC switch.
Take a deep look into the settings available.
You may as well try a modern non-pro version in another folder, to look for relevant changes and maybe get started.
For pro version specific issues, perhaps better mail to Prog directly.

However, things may also depend on which method your DiSEqC 8/1 really uses / needs.
Internally it might work as a cascaded system of e.g. a 2/1 uncommitted followed by two 4/1 switches, but it may also use DiSEqC 1.2 or USALS instead. You should find such details in it's manual.
That exact method might decide, if your DiSEqC would run under a specific ProgDVB version directly, or if a plugin was required, like the DiSEqC module available here, or perhaps something else.
I will NOT search the web for a data sheet for your switch.

BTW, did you test that system with any other receiver before? What method did that use (successfully)?

Nota bene:
I am a user like you, not an employee in any way.
But please allow me to place a statement.
ProgDVB is not responsible for your dish and switch, unless those are proven working and relevant details posted, like DiSEqC method, as mentioned before, and in case precise description of what works and what does not.
I can't look over your shoulder.
Nor could Prog, as ProgDVB does not contain a suitable backdoor...

dear sir ,thank you for your answer .
i have diseqs x 8 from spaun
diseqs x8 from chieta
diseqs x 8 from emp century
no one work more than 4 with progdvb pro 4.89 or the newer and last progdvb pro
progdvb work only if i do this
2 x diseqs x 1.0 or 2.0 of x 4 each total 8 satellite
all 2 diseqs ave to be connected to diseqs 1.1
i can have maximum and only 16 satellite
but we lose a lot of quality gain power and get more ber in this way
today all modern diseqs are x8 only in order to lose less db
why can progdvb work with diseqs x 2.0 x 8 ?
its so easy to do and add
thank you for your help

As I can't tell you more, than I've already done above, you seem to need more help from someone else.

@ Prog
Your turn, I suppose...
