Also depends on the driver and it's architecture.

Does the tuner appear as BDA device in Windows device manager?
Then a suitable BDA device should be available for ProgDVB, at least after the full setup of the original software / driver package.

But if it uses a non-BDA = old style WDM driver, that one required a suitable device file to exist for ProgDVB.
I have not yet seen any other DVB-S tuner using the very same chipset, but possibly the WDM driver's .inf file could include details on hardware compatibility with other brands and their models. View with the editor / notepad.
