i own a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-350 - card (analoge card for german cable TV)
WinTV-PVR-350 contains a highly integrated MPEG-1/2 hardware encoder and hardware MPEG-1/2 decoder.
iam working with windows xp + sp3 with all patches and the installed original hauppauge-application (WinTV) is still working!
question:
1. witch program-version do i have to use? (4.xx, 5.xx, 6.xxx full std pro)
2. is the a special setup for cable?
3. any special driver?
4. is there an installation-sheet for the above card?

ProgDVB is not meant to work as an analogue tuner software.
Was made for DVB, and D stands for digital...
Nevertheless it can in many cases connect to analogue video sources, through the analogue input module.
ProgDVB cable tuning routines wont help you, as those are for DVB-C, digital cable.
Driver and installation manual for your tuner should be found at hauppauge site, of course. But for sure you do have what you need, as else the original software woulöd not be able to operate...
