Not working ProdDVB Versions - USB DVB-T Stick Terratec T3

#1
Hi,
I want to tell you about my testing with PROGDVB, Terratec T3 on my Windows XP Laptop.

DVB-T USB Stick : Terratec T3
DVB UST Stick Driver : Terratec 2.3.3.27 (18.02.2009)
USB : USB 2.0 port
Windows XP, english, SP3

Works with :

# ProgDVB Version 4.92.3 (4 ?) [3.08/Standard Edition] (Setup Named as 4.92.4)
-> Channels are detected

--------------------------------------------------------------

Does not work with :

# ProgDVB Version 5.16.02 Standard Edition
# ProgDVB Version 6.43.01 Standard Edition

-> Problem is that no channels are detected.
-> Channels are scanned
-> Level meter shows different levels
-> Quality meter shows always 0 (zero)
-> no channels detected

I am a little bit sad abaout this, because I would like to use the newest version and maybe pay for it.

Best regards,
Frank

Hi PROG,
I copied my BDA.device file from the old working (Version 4) installation to the following newer versions.
Unfortunetly without success. The following versions don't work with my stick.

# ProgDVB Version 5.16.02 Standard Edition
# ProgDVB Version 6.43.01 Standard Edition

-> Problem is that no channels are detected.
-> Channels are scanned
-> Level meter shows different levels
-> Quality meter shows always 0 (zero)
-> no channels detected

I give up.... I guess.

Best regards,
Frank

Hi Prog,
thanks a lot for your answer.

I tested this on 2 different Laptops.
# Windows XP professional SP3 englsh
# Windows 7 english

The stick and the Terratec Driver is working with the original Terratec Viewer Software which is included with the stick .
It works on both computers.

It is working with ProgDVB Version 4.92.3 (4 ?) [3.08/Standard Edition] (Setup Named as 4.92.4) on both Computers.
I uses as provider "Germany - All channels"

It works with Microsoft Windows Media Center (which is part of my Windos 7 operation system) on my Windows 7 computer.

Best rgards,
Frank
