Gigabyte - GT-PS700

Hello,
i have Gigabyte GT-PS700 & i'm getting no signal using Progdvb v6.70.05
you guys don't support this dvb-s card?

Try change mode in Settings->Device options.

my card name isn't listed ... it's on auto now
which mode should i select?
edit: i selected microsoft compliant bda driver & still no signal.
here is my device name in tv sources menu
713x BDA DVBS Tuner

i'm getting alot of lost channels in the scanning report though.

still doesn't work ... i forgot to mention that progdvb was working when my satellites were connected to port 1 & 2 on the diseqc switch
(but i think one satellite was workng only not both of them)
now they are connected to port 3 & 4
although dvbviewer is working fine on same ports.

try without diseq at first. Diseq is other problem.

but i'm using the same diseqc with dvbviewer & cyberlink powercinema & everything works fine.
what could be the problem?

More simple found good mode without diseq and after that found for diseq.

i had tried without diseqc...it works fine
but when i used diseqc i got no signal again..although i use the same diseqc with dvbviewer and powercinema
how to solve this problem?

the device option is on auto mode,
works fine without diseqc but it doesn't work with diseqc.

Auto mode may be wrong sometimes, specially on OEM and rebranded hardware.
That's the reason why you can select manually.
Gigabyte are known for making fine PCBs (and more), but they don't develop chipsets or tuner concepts.
I may say so, as I had been working for them some time ago.

i agree with you & i know that this card is not the best but i having no problem with it using the included software (cyberlink powercinema) & dvbviewer using diseqc
on the device options i dunno which other mode to select as my device isn't listed
bdw this device driver name is Philips SAA7130,Hybired Capture Device
