HW: Hauppauge HVR 3300 DVB-S
most recent driver.

SW: ProgDVB 6.80 64x (installed in a different folder)
Windows 7 64x

ProgDVB shows two sources {BDA} Hauppauge WinTV 885 ALT BDA Tuner...
and {BDA} Hauppauge WinTV 885 BDA Tuner...

The "ALT" is the right one for DVB-S but doesn't work sometimes. Checking and unchecking will make it work after some time.
Until it works it shows the error
"[{BDA} Hauppauge Win TV 885 ALT BDA Tuner/Demod] Device not started!"

Then again, starting the program, sometime it works, then again not.

Any suggestions???

Could be that Mediaportal did interfere, because it had some services run permanently in the background. Will report later.

Yes it was a service from Mediaportal running in the background. Deinstalled... now ProgDVB is running...
