Hello, I have Gigabyte U8300 DVB-T card installed on my PC. My channels in ProgDVB works fine but my remote control doesn't. When I go to Settings>Device Options – no Gigabyte device is available as a choice. When I go to Settings> Options> Interface> Remote Control Device no choice (Universal HID Remote Control, WinLirc client) does work there. I have installed this utility [1] and also tried to copy it in the ProgDVB remote control folder but still no result. My OS is Windows Vista.

What type API of RC?

I don't know API. How can I find it out? Anyway the remote control doesn't have any model number on it not even under the batteries. It only has a GIGABYTE label.
