I can't seem to find a option to stream unmodified TV channels.. I mean, I want to stream video without deinterlacing so I can perform better quality deinterlace clientside. Are the channels being transcoded too since there's deinterlacing happening? I can't switch it off!

No any changes if video on server side. Current version not support transcoding...

Could you help me to get rid of the deinterlacing then? When the stream is opened in VLC, it is shown 25 frames per second. I think it should be 50 frames per second interlaced. Is renderer affecting it? Display driver settings? Decoder settings?

May be this is logic of VLC. You can record file and open and some editor or analyze software.
