I know orb works and the file output is a .flv and thats with video
On the vlc (videolan) forums, about steaming to the iphone they where saying
"If I output the transcode to an .mp4 file instead, and play it in VLC or WMP, it sounds great."
http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=64220
I know it will be a popular file format and i Hope this helps

you need dvblink+ network pack, or dvbviewer + rec service.
I use both for Iphone stream, dvblink is better then dvbviewer at iphone streaming.
I use dvblink+ network pack, or dvbviewer + rec service for streaming to PC, Iphone, laptop, etc, but for my desktop PC i use ProgDVB, this one change channels very fast compare to others....
