Anysee manufactures a variety of digital tv tuners.

I bought one for myself two weeks ago.

I found the Anysee viewer lacking some features that I could find from other viewers, but I wanted to use the remote control also with other viewers.

However, third party viewers do not support Anysee remote control natively, nor through plugin.

I quickly created my own "plugin" which allows you to use Anysee remote control with any program that supports Winlirc. Progdvb is one of these programs. I have also tried my program with Dvbviewer and Media Player Classic and it works nicely.

just to let you know, I have created new version of AnyseeIR.

AnyseeIR is a program which translates anysee remote control commands to LIRC-commands. That makes it possible to watch television with programs like PROGDVB or DVBVIEWER, and you can also make use of your remote control.

Other programs you can use your Anysee remote control with are Winamp and Media Player Classic for example. Any program with LIRC support is compatible with AnyseeIR
