this will not work...(as the name wine says ( http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wine ) ...it is not an windows emulator...so just forget it) as well it is for other windows dvb-apps...

but under linux there is a great small app named kaffeine

kaffeine records in .ts format ...like many other dvb apps ...so i don´t understand your problem ...

hmm...not really ....

Streaming servers may but not must allow more than one client being connected at a time.
Like on the Prog Media Server, multicast depends on the type of license resp. version.
This may as well be a good reason for programmers, to allow or prevent from a connection to a multicast / broadcast capable 3rd party client as a repeater / multiplier.
Normally, Linux open source / GPL applications don't intentionally come with limitations like this. If in doubt, RTFM (M = man pages)
