Look at satcodx.com for turksat stations. Find valid IDs there.

However, they list a video data rate of 0.55 mbps resolution 1/4 D1, plus a single audio channel of 64kbit. That looks very strange to me. What is this for, slide show, or extremely bad picture quality movies?

Disable all plugins and try again.

And compare with other DVB software results, including the original one, that came with your card.
Also perhaps try another codec, as some might not work without audio.

Up to now, we don't even have a hint, what's the real reason for your trouble. Might even be, they transmit some bad PMT data, or too slow for ProgDVB, to read all in at scanning, leading to time out.

They are sending no audioPID!
I tried it with:
1. Dreambox 7000S
2. dbox2 Nolia
3. Opera USB
and the PCI nexus PCI with different programs.

And only the prob with no picture is on progDVB.

I will look for an other channel with no audioPID and report.

But recording brings 0 bytes exactly.
No idea 'bout any still picture rules on DVB specs, sorry.

Recorded lots of test charts over the years, FUBK, color bars and alike, but even if generated strictly and directly digital, all of those produced at least some data rate and growing file size. Truely and directly digital in this case means, an hour of such a recording would be dozends of megabytes perhaps, but f.e. WinACE would shrink it into less than 500kB, as all GOPs would be absolutely identical and repeating.

No idea at all, what's different in this case.

The NO APID (or incorrect value) => NO VIDEO exist since long time
As the manual (channel property or pannel function) change of audio track, need to select another channel after the change then reselect the needed.

Sorry, I mean that it is the same problem when changing audio, the video is lost also, but in this case the new APID exist really.
If not existing (removed or PID changed) it isnt possible to retrieve VIDEO

When I start "ProgDvbNet.exe" ,this error is show up:

with last ProgDVB test ver. 5.04.1 i have this :

with full screen mode the taskbar of still , so i must turn it " autohide " and for me this is non-practical

5.05 I have total remake CI support in ProgDVB. In this version it implemented only for WDM driver SkyStar1/Nexus and 3200 cards.

Not working for me...CI Menü works..decrypting not...
