Well, I have to disagree. It's probably not manageable that you cover all possible test cases alone. But you could for example offer a prerelease, let volunteers test a bit and based on that fix bugs or release it to everybody else.

But, judging from your response I assume that there is no real will to do something in this direction. I guess I just have to live with that annoying situation.

Yes, I have pre-release page on site and use it for important changes. But test on 10-50% PCs still not mean 100% stability.

Salut, i have some info:

If i install ProgDVB, then i do some scan, or set my settings, progdvb window start to slow down, mouse as well, and when i click on some option in program i must wait over 30 seconds to get executed.
After restart, same situation.

Then, i uninstall, install again latest version, but, i choose program files/progdvb as root , instead of ALL USERS. With this tweak slow downs dissapear( not all but alot)

Now, with Demultiplexor set to PROG, subtitles dissaper.
With Demultiplexor set to Cyberlink, image is blank(black).
With Demultiplexor set to Microsoft or Elecard, subs are working, image as well.

With Demultiplexor set to Microsoft or Elecard, what strike me back is that channels switch and zapping are very fast, like 0-2 sec on same transponder( SD or HD) and like 0-3 sec on other transponder( hd free, hd encripted, sd).
WOW.
With Dvbviewer( that i love) i have 0-4 sec on same trasp and 0-12 on other( 12 for HD free or HD encripted).

Been this fast on ch switch, ProgDVB is best. But, there are some crashes, or freeze.

Timeshifting in RAM not working.

PS, my tuner is Terratec cinergy htc xs hd, dvb-c( love it).

When progdvb closed with an error, and start it again, my tuner is not seen.
I must start dvbviewer for example, then progdvb, now my tuner is seen, and i must go to multiplex to choose something, like REGION all 6900,256qam
If not, an message appear that say to set something for tuner to work.

When i start progdvb and my tuner is not seen, i see that in the right word Multiplex dissapear.
If word " Multilextor " exist then my tuner is seen.


Anothern one, is i choose at installation analog tuner, and i start probdvb( on dvbc for example), an error appear and progdvb close. This error:

How to fix this: i go to ProgDVB.ini, find analog tuner and delete the lines.

If i choose HID remote, then my keyboard does not work, at least some keys, i must choose NONE at remotes. ( no problem because i use Intelliremote).

IN in v6.63.1 radio dvbc channels not working, in v6.63.2 radio dvbc working.

Also, if i enable Internet Tv, ProgMedia, channel switch is slow, i must disable all of that, and leave only my dvbc tuner.

Also, elecard codecs on this site( or from elecard.com) are not good for sd or hd, even if i play with deinterlace or other settings.

ps: I am not recommend use Analog function in ProgDVB. It working not good and not for all devices.

Anytime I try to scan transponder - channel list/scan transponder, scan window appears, imediatelly closes and progdvb freezes.

v 6.63.02

In 6.61.3 it´s OK. Win7, SP1/x64.

It is bug of ProgDVB. Please send me all ini files from ProgDVB

Also please try start with /Debug key. And try in stability mode.

ps: Do you have crash when open channels? Any plugins or modules? try remove all.
