Hello Juergen and all
I'm new to ProgDVB and have installed ver. 6.70.5, 32-bit on a Win 7, 64-bit OS. I am in the U.S. My first goal is to obtain my local broadcast channels via ATSC.
I don't seem to be able to scan in any channels in ATSC mode. The scan runs, but doesn't come up with any channels. The Hauppague USB-950 Tuner is working fine with other software. I don't know the format for manually creating a Channels List via text input.
Guidance will be appreciated!

Re: ATSC Scan / Channel List
#3The manual scan seems to run fine, but aquires no stations.
At one time, with 64-bit ProgDVB I picked up 1.3 ATSC channels with a manual scan at 1 mHz. I should be picking up about 6.16 channels. The 1.3 channels seemed to play fine. Unfortunately I lost them.
Update - I just scanned again an picked up 1.2 channels. This is good! 5.14 channels to go.

#4May be frequency table too bad
Also you can try x32 version of ProgDVB also.

#5Hi Prog and thanks.Prog wrote:May be frequency table too badAlso you can try x32 version of ProgDVB also.
I currently have installed ProgDVB V6.70.5.0, 32 bit.
It could be that the frequency table is somehow amiss or perhaps some conversion factor for the table. I notice on the one fequency (1.3 channels) I currently have, the frequency per ProgDVB is 114000 kHz lower than that indicated for North American broadcast television frequencies (en.Wikipedia) for that channel.
The Wikipedia table indicates a frequency of 621.25 MHz (621250 kHz) for channel 39 video carrier while the frequency per ProgDVB Scan is 507250 kHz.
The Multiplex List appears to correspond with the 8000 kHz channels in the referenced frequency list. I don't know if there is some offset or adjustment that ProgDVB applies to that list. The Multiplex List appropriately shows 68 Steps.
Re: ATSC Scan / Channel List
#6Table of ProgDVB in Transponders\ATSC\list.txt. Please check it. Can you help me update of this table?
Re: ATSC Scan / Channel List
#8But scanner not working? may be device detected to like ATSC? (Settings->TV Sources)
Re: ATSC Scan / Channel List
#9First, you need to have the good frequency, Symbol rate, modulation and bandwidth for tune a ATSC channel for North America. This information is not currently available on the ProgDvb ch list. For know the right one, check this link.
