Geniatech HDstar not working

#1
HI
after a week of work suddenly progDvb doesn't read Geniatech.eBda. I tried reinstalling the software in another directory and the result is the same, no device.
The file is shown correctly in the modules folder.
Before reinstalling the drivers of the board I'd like to have some suggestion, because even when working, diseqc didn't.
I have a double LNB on 13 and 19.2 and works only 13.2
Before this USB device, I mounted a skystar2, working regularly, but not switching, while with dvbdream did.
Thankyou in advance for hoped reply.

ps: Try install to c:\ProgDVB
it was on the CD of the Geniatech HDstar board

Anyways after reinstalling the driver it's ok.

It's the diseqC that doesn't switch the satellites.
I use DvbDream to switch the Pinnacle PCTV board and a skystar2 (on 2 different PCs).
Now I'm trying twith a USB TV board and there is no way to switch.
Is it possibly a problem of Vista 7 ?
Any suggestion will be welcome. Now I'l try a Terratec, just arrived. I let you know
Thanks for the reply

of course I did, Hotbird 13° works with all boards and related devices and I'm using ProgDvb since years. Before the adoption of BDA drivers there was no problem in switching.

Hi There...I have a query here...hope you guys would help me..
My first post here so I hope it is ok for everyone!

Has anyone been able to get any success with this device for viewing tv via any means as yet
It works under XP and I have even tried it in a virtualbox (XP) environment with no success ( unsurprisingly it cannot find the hardware )

Failing that I have an old Sky Plus box that I could use. Sadly not HD. What would be my best method of viewing the output from it with Ubuntu.
Many thanks
