Hi all, Hi Camel,
I think you're doing a great job with ProgEdit and so I fell a little bit embarrassed asking you for a sort of tutorial about how to set a personal list of channels ...
I really miss something important in understanding how ProgDVB channel are organized and how to use ProgEdit to change it.
I know this is a boring question but actually I think it would be very useful.
Thanks!
Bye,
Max

There's an even easier way, to get a custom channel list.
Just add a favourite list (or even more), mark, copy and paste stations from the dynamic list(s).
You may arrange and group to your liking quite fast, mix stations from various satellites (if available from your set).
And as each channel list can have it's own numbering, that's also possible for the favs list(s).
Just doublettes within one favs list can't have more than one number.
Favs list goes last, for automatical renumbering.
But of course you still need the editor, if you want to do more specific things.

Yes, that works of course ... even if I'm not really happy ... you know ... channels sometimes disappears ... every rescan generates unpredictable effects ... reordering of channel in a fav list means open every channel property ...

???
You can move channels inside of a fav list directly from the GUI, up, down, into a different folder.
When sorted, go Edit --> Renumber, and you have the channel numbers aligned for the list, from top to bottom.
The channel lists you see, are special link collections, more or less, each one pointing to an entry of the main database.
Normally, after a rescan, just a couple of stations would change, but as this is done in the main database, it will also update fav channel props.
There's no need, to let all 'lost' channels be removed after a scan. And you can set channels to not update from their props, if you like.
So you can f.e. keep temporary channels in your list.
But if your signal is weak and unreliable, giving completely different results on each scan, then you should improve this, in the first place.
