As long I watch ProgDVB I meanwhile managed a lot of things... with your help!
But now I run out of possibilities and hoping to get help.
Situation:
ProgDVB .06 - version 32 bit (still running on a Win7-Ultimate-64bit-Win)
Because my old monitor crashed I got an LG D2542P, got it running for SbS and anaglyph very well.
Machine has 8GB RAM and an quadcore processor.
Starting ProgDVB I followed http://www.progdvb.com/manual2/options_video_3d.html, but I cant get it managed to activate the 3D-button.
Codec is Cyberlink8 or MS, both are showing identically effects.
In channel-options of ProgDVB selecting and applying "3D" wont lead to an activated 3D icon on toolbar....
Manual says: "At the same time the 3D icon on a toolbar is activated" ?!
Switching over to options- video-3D : grayed, only Source avtivated, no chance3 to choose.
Because I recognized NVidias 3D vision isn't really compatible for my monitor/videocard (ATI Radeon HD 5770) the anaglyph mode is also not available.
On other side: stored (!) SbS-files are displayed correctly from harddrive by that LG-monitor by Tridef-software!
(youtube.com, 3D)
Switching over to ProgDVB, using Astra 3-D (also SbS) I cant get it managed, because ProgDVB wont let me activate the 3D-icon nor the Options-Video-3D not greyed.
So I cant "choose a Viewing method" - as I "must".
At last I tried to declare ProgDVB to be a game for Tridef. Will start, but same difficulties like ProgDBD started direct.
Any hints from everyone?
Thanks in advance!!!!
Re: 3D problems
#2Do you have ATI? Current version of ProgDVB have 3D only for nvidia. Please wait.
Re: 3D problems
#4A way to manage the problem I´ve found:
Record the wanted 3D-stream to harddrive with ProgDVB (c:/users/name/local/ProgDVB/... )
Open this in TriDef.
play it via Tridef...excellent!
Not really usable for live-events like football-matches or viewing mars-data within 3D...
So I dont really see any reason, why ProgDVB cant do that in direct
I reduce from "problem" to "not userfriendly"
idea:
just add to the TV-sources-list (often, INet, SAT1, SAT2..) the argument "device"....
And/Or add a similar section for output!
not even any more changes to the ProgDVB are necessary to serve all the users very different equip!
See just at my case:
INPUT: Technisat DVB-S2 card
OUTPUT: Tridef on standard ATI-graphicscard 3D
Will avoid extras in ProgDVB simply by passing through, you dont need to handle - will be done by installed drivers.
Makes your source also easyer, all will be done by the drivers of the user....
Anyway: I'm really satisfied by your great program!
