Hello to all,
In ProgDVB manual search menu, we can now hit "Multistream filter" and choose value of a stream to lock transponder and scan this one.
Some transponders for example at 5° west and 13° east are using now the Physical Layer Scrambling.
Can you add in manual search menu a windows to put Gold Code or Root Code to lock those transponders ?
Thanks for reply and for your work !
Best regards
stp

#2I am not have information about this. And I am not sure about supporting on driver/DVB card level.
Please send me link to information.

#3Thanks Prog for reply,
TBS-6925 hardware and new drivers 1.0.1.7.
With TBS-6925-TSRecorder 3.0.0.7 it is possible to put Gold or Root Code and lock transponder with Physical Layer Scrambling.

Re: Physical Layer Scrambling
#5Hi Prog,
I see in download center that ProgDVB is for XP, Vista and Windows 7.
I use Windows 8, can I have some problems with this OS ?
Sometime, in transponder with MIS, the streams are not correctly identified, this "error" is aleatory.
Sorry for my poor English.
Best Regards

#7Yes Prog x32,
I have same results with 1.0.1.5, 1.0.1.6 and 1.0.1.7 drivers from TBS.
In ProgDVB/Modules I use : BDA.device, TBS.eBDA, TBS.eBDA2 from ProgDVB.

Re: Physical Layer Scrambling
#9Hello crazycat,
Big thanks for reply and files.
I have the same file TBS.eBDA2 in ProgDVB, when I set same values that in your TBS.ini nothing work.
I use those values :
[Common]
Log=0
HWControl=1
LevelsType=0
; Delay=0
I have some little problems on :
13e 11432 V 27500 2/3 stream 1 2 Root 8
13e 12539 H 27500 2/3 stream 1 2 Root 8
5w 12606 v 29900 2/3 stream 1 2 (2 crypté) Root 8
5w 12648 v 29500 8/9 stream 1 2 Gold 121212
5w 12669 h 30080 5/6 stream 1 2 Root 8
12.5w 12718 h 36512 5/6 stream 33 34 35 36
The problem is only to detect good value of stream.
In manual scan, when I try to detect stream sometime I have good value, sometime not, it 's aleatory.
If I detect a good value, I lock and scan, the channels are identified and I can always get the picture.
I have problem on :
45e 11591 v 30000 3/4 stream 2 3 4
5w 11012 v 30000 3/5 stream 2 3 Root 16416
5w 11179 v 30000 3/5 stream 4 5 12 Root 16416
5w 11637 v 30000 3/5 stream 1 2 3 4 5 Root 16416
In manual scan, when I try to detect stream sometime I have not good value, it 's aleatory.
If I detect a good value, I lock and scan, the channels are identified with good name or not.
Sometime I have good picture, sometime no picture, it's also aleatory.

One more time sorry for my english.

Re: Physical Layer Scrambling
#10Look like i have filehosting problems at crazycat69.narod.ru and you download very old TBS.eBDA2 (also included in latest pre-relese ProgDVB 6.96.2b). So i attach new TBS.eBDA in my previsious message. And plese leave default settings in TBS.ini (i not recommend LevelsType=0, because possible conflict with driver demod control).stp wrote:I have the same file TBS.eBDA2 in ProgDVB, when I set same values that in your TBS.ini nothing work.

P.S. some tips howto prepare manual scan:
1. Select/enter desired transponder (select proper modulation, usual NBC_8PSK)
2. Enable PLS checkbox and enter proper PLS mode and code
3. Press Lock button
4. If some quality showed (not stable, because MIS filtering not selected) - so PLS code proper.
5. Enable MIS checkbox and press detect 'Detect' - all available Input Streams ID must be showed in combobox selection.
6. Select desired Input Streams ID and press Lock.
7. Signal Quality must be stable now and press Scan. Channels must be detected.
8. Next select another Input Stream ID, press Lock, next Scan.
Re: Physical Layer Scrambling
#11Hello crazycat,
Thanks for reply and new file.
I have set in TBS.ini
Log=0 (if I set Log=1 ProgDVB crash !)
HWControl=1
LevelsType=1
; Delay=0
With the new TBS.eBDA2 the streams are correctly identified.
Tests results :
----------------------------------------------------------
13e 11432 V 27500 2/3 stream 1 2 Root 8
13e 12539 H 27500 2/3 stream 1 2 Root 8
5w 12606 v 29900 2/3 stream 1 2 Root 8
5w 12648 v 29500 8/9 stream 1 2 Gold 121212
5w 12669 h 30080 5/6 stream 1 2 Root 8
12.5w 12718 h 36512 5/6 stream 33 34 35 36
All work fine !
---------------------------------------------------------
45e 11591 v 30000 3/4 stream 2 3 4
5w 11012 v 30000 3/5 stream 2 3 Root 16416
5w 11179 v 30000 3/5 stream 4 5 12 Root 16416
5w 11637 v 30000 3/5 stream 1 2 3 4 5 Root 16416
I can scan those transponders but the channelname are not always correct.
Sometime I can get the picture, sometime I cannot !
I have to change channel one time or repeatedly to get picture !
When I can get the picture, this one is stable.
