My main purpose is to use the ProgDVB as a client in order to access channels m3u play list via web, so that to watch tv from my phone.
Using my laptop with WIN 10, via LAN is working OK. But via WAN cannot connect (time out error).
Using my old netbook with WIN XP, I have WAN access, but the ProgDVB crashes when I try to load a channel from my phone.
I have made port forwarding in both cases and I am using a static IP via noip.com
Any idea how to solve this problem?
Re: I can't manage it to work as I want
#2What error show client ProgDVB? Send me loggs.
For WAN you must open port on router and check this port on provider side.

Re: I can't manage it to work as I want
#3I attach the logs files from my netbook (Win XP), because I am more interested to work on it.

Re: I can't manage it to work as I want
#8I use default codecs settings (mpeg2 and h.264 uses ffdshow video codecs, but works also OK with Lava codecs).
My system is Win XP Pro SP3, 1GB RAM, 1,5 GHZ CPU. They are also installed Microsoft NET Framework 4 and DirectX 9c.

Re: I can't manage it to work as I want
#9I am not have idea why MS codecs crash on this format. Use LAV or any other codecs.
Re: I can't manage it to work as I want
#10Finally I managed to work it on Win 10. The problem was located in Comodo Firewall. Despite of I gave full access to ProgDVB, it blocked it again. I deactivate it and worked OK. However I can't make it to work on Win XP. Older versions that I tried, didn't crash, but worked actually only with LAN.
My question now is: Is there any way to control video size and bitrate when streaming?

#11Prog Media server only router for traffic. No function for resize.
Re: I can't manage it to work as I want
#12In this Help file, I read about transcoding: http://download.progdvb.com/manuals/pms.zip
What am I missing?

#13Old versions support transcoding but it was not very stable. I plan total remake transcoding in future but not in near weeks.
