when watching IPTV with progDVB I notice the screen is flickering. When watching the same IPTV channel with vLC, there's no flickering.

Any idea ?

Try change video render in Options->Video->Codecs

yes, it works now without flickering choosing renderer "VMR-9 requires DirectX9)

another question ... when opnening a channel, there's a information popup on the screen which will disappear automatically after 5 or 6 seconds ... can I adjust this duration ? I looked into the settings and I was not able to find such setting.
