Hauppauge WinTV Nexus -s DVB Card on a PCIe System

:( I try to use ProgDBV in a System described above. The Hauppauge TechSupp provide a special driver for PCIe systems, i've already installed. The main WinTV DVB Program delivered with the Card is working. But ProgDVB has only EPG info in the footer but no picture. I checked out every possible settings (Settings -> Device options). Is here anybody who knows about this problem? Is there a special driver required? Thanks a lot for responding, Stefan :lol:

You would have to (have at hand and) use the codecs your original application is using. AFAIK it's ffdshow.
Start woth ProgDVB in software mode, to test this.
If necessary, copy codecs to the filters sub folder, and perhaps register again by modifying the file 'register.bat'.

Ages ago, I tested that stuff over here, and in fact it worked. But in that (semi) HW mode you don't have any control of the codecs from ProgDVB.

There's one benefit from that HW mode with forced software decoding, you can use the HW TV out and SW decoding for the PC at the same time.
