Teletext system (as defined decades ago) does not provide full codepage selection, as it only has three bits available for this.
So, a maximum of eight languages can be handled automatically, if the proper region is preselected, like northern or central Europe, for exmple.

Don't understand, what you mean by that.
I don't want to handle my language automatically, I want to set czech codepage manually in ProgDVB.

I got bored and angry with the crashes and problems on V4 series.
Just did a clean download and install of v5.13.4.
It accepted my SS2 but then came the crash when I tried to scan.
Now it wont load and I get the error message
ProgDVB Engine. Device not started ({BDA} no device)

What do I do now please?

Install and use latest WDM drivers, for example.
Then, start ProgDVB and hit device list, deactivate any (half) active device and select the proper one to start.

ProgDVB 5.13.4
If I set channel trough remote control and channel has no signal ProgDVB do not react on remote commands anymore, next channel must be set manually by mouse( channel which has signal ) , after that remote works OK

Direct access to OSD channel lists will be appreciate.
For now access to OSD channel lists is possible through main OSD dialog ( too much clicking on remote ).

assigning shortcuts for Chan+ / Chan-

assigning a shortcut to the function Chan+ / Chan- does not work.
The assignment seems to be ok, but when executing the shortcut for
Chan+ the screen is black. Pressing the shortcut for Chan- returns
to the last channel.

This may mean, instead of changing up and down the channel list, the channel history would be used.
To confirm, please tray again, to find out, if after some channel switching and then ch- you can go back with ch+, to the station you were before.

For identifying eventual software bugs, try to use precise human logics ;)

Vista: crash when going into sleep mode

well, the subject says all: when setting the PC which is running under Vista into sleep mode and resuming afterwards, the ProgDVB window remains empty, the mouse pointer is busy and the only option is to kill ProgDVB.

Running WinXP MCE with SP2 and Technotrend S2-3200, I am getting an error after about 2 hours of run time. The ProgDVB engine is crashing and the application does not respond and I have to end task. If I let it run long enough with will crash completely and will not be running at all. I am running the latest version of CoreAVC professional and the channel that I am watching is H264 with AC3. Here are some images, if you need more info. Please let me know.

For this card you can try WDM and BDA driver.

PS: Do you have good signal level?
