No, I agree with koderx. I am using 5.14.8.
Did a channel scan, did Re-Index by SID
Following Channel List Settings...
Channel list type: Dynamic
Grouping: None
Sort: By Number

And it shows the channel number and channel name, but it seems to be sorted in some random order (not even alphabetically)?

If change the settings to:
Grouping: Satellite
Sort: By Number
It will sort alphabetically by channel name...not by number?

Seems like a bug there. (BTW, sorting works fine in 4.90.

Yes, there is a bug.
Scanned channels have got a random numbers after scan.

with latest version (5.15.1) in Vista with EVR there's part of the picture flashing above the picture(in place which should be black) very annoying.

using latest official nvidia drivers (175.19) and Geforce 9600GT.

gone back to version 5.15 for now.

I now. You can use other render while I am not fix this bug.

I have just installed version 5.15.1 (on XP Prof SP2) and in the module folder many of the modules have up to 7 copies. Is this ok?

Note: The folder wasn't there before install.

in latest version (5.15.05) dvb subtitles don't work.

edit. today they suddenly work.
probably local operator changed some settings...

ProgDVB 5.15.08 at "About Me" says "Version 5.15.06" (????)

I tried to install the new ProgDVB 5.15.08 and had several problems:

Installation does not take old configuration but creates new one
(tried only central methods, not the single user one)!

When I start ProgDBVNet it asks for Administrator rights now (every time)!
I use DVB T+S2 cards with German+Austrian channels and configuration of my channels is too time consuming to do it on each update.
Therefore I copied channel dir but then It still asked to change config on DigiSeq+providers menu and repeats this in a circle forever until I press escape (cancel), but next start comes back again

Therefore: Unuseable!

p.s.: downgrading to .07 luckily works again ...

It seems that v08 installs ProgDVB.ini on C:\ root directory and this is why it asks for permission to read/write!

At least I found the file there and when I deleted it and installed/started ProgDVBNet again it was there again...

Seems to be some nasty problem introduced with 'new' feature of different settings locations.

1. ProgDVB not can work without admin rights. Work but not all function.
You can disable request admin password if remove *.manifest file.

2. You can select using root of ProgDVB for config files. Like old versions.
