#561Hi,2HD wrote:Problem with subtitles we see that it is not fixed.
Subtitles are exported many right thus lose many words in sentences.
Problem with sound is not right, when changing from one channel to another channel sound interrupted while listening to music is seen most clearly.
Came out already so many new versions and old problems stay where we are alarmed so long ago.

Did anyone found a solution for these problems? The subtitles that are partially visible after some time and stuttering sound when changing channels (only happens with Elcard demux).
@Prog: I can help you with the testing of these if needed.

Re: bug feedback - post newly found progdvb bugs here
#563Yes I have tried but with those I have other problems. For example with Microsoft or CyberLink demux the DanceNationTV from Astra 28.2 freezes every 2-3 minutes (this with TT premium - i know that you will not support this card but i have it.. and I intend to still use it for some time). Tried with a borrowed PCTV 452e which is BDA and it doesn't freeze so this is only related to the TT premium.
However I have some problems when using the Microsoft or CyberLink demux on DVB-C for some channels. For these the overlay stays black only the audio being available with Microsoft or CyberLink demux. Therefore I have to use the Elcard demux because I have less problems.
Tried with different MPEG2 codecs: elcard. ffdshow and intervideo and it is the same. Only the demux matters.

Re: bug feedback - post newly found progdvb bugs here
#564I forgot to say that there is no audio stuttering with Microsoft or CyberLink demux but I have the problems described in the previous post.
There is another small but with the Channel Info OSD: teh teletext, subtitle and 3D info is always ON. I think that the last version when it worked was 4.48.4. This is not an important but but is visible at every channel change.
PS: Do not take these as complains, I just try to make this application better although is the best DVB application that I have worked with (and there are a few).

#565Yes, MS not support 1-2% of channels.
ps: Is it depended from OSD skin? What ProgDVB version?

Re: bug feedback - post newly found progdvb bugs here
#566I am using the default OSD skin (with always use SD option selected). Tried with all versions over 6.48.4 (latest one included). This doesn't seem to be hardware dependent because it happns with all DVB cards that I have. Maybe is OS dependent but I only have WinXP.
PS: Currently I am using the 6.48.3 which works best since I have updated from 4.56

#567Retested the OSD problem on 6.50.1 and the indications are wrong only on the default skin. The other ones correctly show the presence of Teletext, subtitles, other audio...

#5686.50.1 has some problems running under Windows 7 Ultimate, I have to disable User Account Control - UAC
- and it won't run as a scheduled task either, even when I set it to run from the built-in Windows 7 Administrator account.
Any other versions compatible with Windows 7 or its task scheduler?

Re: bug feedback - post newly found progdvb bugs here
#569Regarding the subtitles problem, I have found a situation when it always brakes. Here are the steps to reproduce this:
1. Start viewing a channel with closed caption subtitles (SD MPEG2 channel).
2. The subtitles are correctly displayed (for some minutes).
3. At some moment the subtitles should be displayed 2 rows up not to cover some other writing on screen. However the ProgDVB doesn't do this and displays them in the same place.
4. At the next subtitle sequence the position on screen returns to the usual one. From this moment the subtitles are not shown any more until restarting the application. The subtitles seem to be moved outside the visible part of the overlay.
These has been observed by comparing the ProgDVB behavior with a DVB-C box and seem to be happening very often on National Geographic Channel.
Can something be done in order to avoid this problem?
