add more video codecs

hi sorry to bother you but i would like to know if there is anyway to add more video codec options the reason i ask is because with the current ones on my m3u list hd channels has video distortion after a few minutes of playing.but if i use a different app for viewing the list the video works perfect.but i prefer using progtv because i can control the buffer and looks like the real deal please letme know how to add more video codes options.thanks in advance
