1. Not every channel sends subtitles
2. Not every channel sends subtitles all the time
3. Some channels sends subtitles over a specific teletext page some do this in an other way...
I´m not on Hotbird so i can´t say more to this ...

correct

Has nothing to do with filtergraphs ...i don´t know whtats the problem is...perhaps this depends on the provider...maybe adjust OSD delay in OSD settings...

next ?
as usual ...use projectx and then your favorite tools for video/audio creation & mastering...
btw. this is not an issue for this forum ...look at e.g. DVBN or doom9 for this...

Well, as you are talking on subs, for which a dedicated PID is used, this makes me think of ETSI subs.
For those there is a special miodule, play around with it.
If you have to record .ts or just the PID, can't help further, as my set won't allow proper use of this.
However, if you are talking about a completely differnt subs system, you have to provide full details.
And that includes example PID(s) / PMT, bird / position, provider, transponder data and alike, of course.
In any case, most important is, to know exactly, what we're talking about...
And, as SiLencer already pointed you to, this place is for ProgDVB related issues, only.
Means, either on ProgDVB functions already existing, working or not, or in case, feature requests. But then, there's a dedicated thread for those.

Well, somethimg is completely different here, I don't find any PID in that subtitles section, just TXT page numbers (if defined).
That's why i'm still missing important details.
Don't get your birds here, to test on my own, sorry.
So, how did that PID enter the channel props?
Did you activate the ETSI subs module, perhaps?
We're talking on computer logics, that's why absolute precision is mandatory.
