Scrolling down the displayed channel list

Since installing V 4.84 I'm unable to scroll down the list of displayed channels have I missed something in Settings.
I can briefly look at two screens but on the third I get the Microsoft box
saying 'ProgDVB has encountered a problem and it needs to close' and it
can disconnect me at the modem.

I've still got the same problem when scrolling thru the channels to see what they are showing.
BUT when I switch to my standby program called DVBViewer GE the same problem is there too.
This problem is more serious than I thought.
Is this a known error?

OK third post on the same topic and this is starting to annoy me.
I suspect I have a wrong entry somewhere but I dont know where to look.
I've reinstalled the Technisat Sky Star 2 program but its not cured the problem.
The must be somebody somewhere reading these posts whose found this before or who can suggest a way to cure it.
I scroll down the long list of available channels to see what they are showing,
just as I do on the terrestrial TV to my wifes annoyance, and I cant do more than three stations before the Microsoft error box appears saying
'ProgDVB has encountered a problem and it needs to close'.
So I re connect and scroll down the next three stations, and so on until I explode with anger.
Help Please

Seems that noone here shares your problem...
As you told, DVBViewer also suffers from the same trouble, it's most likely not ProgDVB related.
Did you scan on your own, or use or import third party channel lists?
Or do they come from an older software (version), perhaps?
Where are you scrolling on, ProgDVB window or OSD channel list?
What language file(s), what Windows language version?
What OS version?
DirectX?
...
Possibly some weird networking trouble, as you mentioned your modem getting disconnected. Check your firewall settings, and don't try to stream towards that modem...
Make sure to retry without any plugin.
Details rule, the more, the better the chance for getting helped.
But surely not by me, as my system is far from similar...

Juergen, thank you for the quick response.
You have given me several clues which I can follow up over the holiday weekend.
Post now closed.
