you need to know this before installing progdvb...
After installation... choose the satelite you point to in diseqC settings...then make a channel scan...

Just an additional comment for NA users:
Dish Network use proprietary LNBs, dirrerent from the rest of the world...
LOF settings for those aren't included in ProgDVB, have to be entered manually.
Due to non standard handling of polarisation you may as well have to use special transponder lists, suitable for DN hardware.
As we can't get your birds (or LNBs) over here, we can't help in detail.
This for, think about visiting
http : // dvbn(dot)happysat(dot)org
- no www in that URL (nor any spaces, of course).
They have a fine NA related section and you will find all you need there.
Register to read.
We can't provide a working link, due to possible legal issues.
BTW, on a few NA heading satellite positions, transponder lists may be completely identical.
So, even if you're finding a bunch of stations at a scan, you won't at once be sure, to head to the correct bird system.
Check a few stations and their properties then, compare with lyngsat.com listings.
