Hi,

iam new to this Forum and got a Problem:

I have got a Hauppauge Nova S Plus on an Asus A8V Deluxe. If I start ProgDVB this message came up:

Device not started: ((BDA) Hauppauge WinTV 88x DVB-S Tuner/Demod)
Connect TIF error
Device not started: ((BDA) Hauppauge WinTV 88x DVB-S Tuner/Demod)

What can I do to solve this problem?

hi , as you can read in this forum 100 times...choose the bda device ...as for all cards running on bda drivers

please , next time use the search function first b;)

Of course I chose BDA - Same error!

1. driver + original software for the card must be installed

can not be ...

which OS do you use ?

works the original software with the card ...this must be done first...to test that the card is ok...

when this is done you can try 3rd party software like progdvb...

Hi,

I use WIN XP x86 Professional
with WinTV it works fine...so no defect on the PCI Card!
