Trying to take a screenshot (F12) nothing happens, only clue is (inside some obscure logfile) a " - CreateDirecotryWithSubDirecotrys - Error2! "J" -(root "") "
(Direcotry?)
Will we ever get back the other options that I remember were in when I bought this software? E.g. screenshot format and quality?

Options->Record. Modern version use Picture folder of windows for screenshot.

Thanks, I already used that to set the path but didn't work
it turned out it can't creat subfolders anymore
if given in template (eg. %channel%\%year%-%monthnum2%)
(while it works if I create subfolders manually for the channels)

I was using this template, I think one of the default ones?
%channel%\%monthnum2%.%day2% - %hour%.%minute%.%second% - %epgtotal%

ProgDVB? What version? What screenshot path?
I am not have this problem.

ProgDVB 7.53.05 x64
Any path set in Options->Record (I just retried with P:\capture\ProgDVB)
It works removing the "\" from template, just it no longer creates different folders for channel
(it's ok even this way, the real problem was finding why it wasn't working)

Is it working like P:\capture\ProgDVB and not if P:\capture\ProgDVB\ ? Thanks bug...

it works with both "screenshot path" formats,

what breaks it is in the "Filename template" field:
using a "\" (eg. %channel%\%monthnum2%.%day2%) doesn't create the %channel% subfolder
(it did in previous versions) and doesn't write the screenshot.
But, if manually creating the %channel% subfolders (eg. P:\capture\ProgDVB\RTL), then it writes the screenshots.

Maybe it could depend on some windows behaviour changed with some update? I'm using italian windows10.

Please enable logs end send me in next time.

update, I downloaded the latest version and fully reinstalled, it seems to work again
