Hi there,

I downloaded ProgDVB 4 and 5 and had some problems. I bought my DVB (TechnoTrend DVB-S 1500) card on friday and I´m new to this. I tried at least some DVB software and I like ProgDVB much. But some Errors occured.
I´d like to use ProgDVB as DVB- Streaming Server . That worked somehow, but I could not get shoutcast working (Winamp says "Error synching with stream"). Unicast works, but it often crashes. The streaming client often crashes when I switch the channel. The Server crashes sometimes (program just quits or the CPU goes up to 100% so I got to quit).
Yesterday the Server crashed at a scheduled recording task
Those problems occur at both versions, 4 and 5. The program crashes with windows error reporting...


Something I can do?

Try to dsable EPG and TXT module on the server, remove all unnecessary modules for other DVB cards.
Disable SW decoding on the server.

Make sure to always use identical copies of the channel folders on server and client.

That's all I can tell right now, as I'm not using network streaming here (yet).
