That's strange, as this is working fine over here, on ProgDVB 4.84.1 w9x and several others.
Perhaps hardware related?
What card, driver and ProgDVB version do you use?
Details like this should be included with any question, of even better, be placed within the signature...

And even more strange Juergen is that im using recomended progdvb "hardware"
Compro Videomate S-350
Using the driver from this site: VMHybrid_1.3.4.5b
Maybe it is time for XPSP2 but im really enjoying the functions
on Win2003 the remote desktop etc (it makes it easy to reach and work
on the files recorded directly on the system) from anywhere in the world

(XP has an limited version of remote desktop)

ProgDVB 5 versions are still declared as test versions, and they are supposed to still have bugs like this.
Compare with recent 4 versions, mainly, and then report with full details on almost everything...
I'll test 5.x on Win2k occasionally over here, including recordings. Right now, they won't play back here, that's why I did not get deeper into this right now.
Wonder if things are hardware related, or OS or whatsoever.
Prog might already know, perhaps.
He's supposed to keep working on our reports, from my point of view...

Now I did some more testing over here, and I can confirm that bug in full.
Conditions:
ProgDVB 5.09.02
Win2000 with all the latest updates
DVB-S: hauppauge WinTV Nexus-S rev. 2.2, driver TT 2.19, hardware mode
DVB-T: MSI DIGI VOX mini-II (anysee compatible), BDA driver, Cyberlink or elec. codec by xgr fle, or mpeg2 decoder off.
FAT32 and NTFS recording partitions tested
Results:
On 5.09.02, generally the record time counter jumps from 00:07:09 to 00:00:00:5032704, then the seconds keep counting up.
All recordings are playing asynchronically, even pause or the slider won't help.
BTW, 5.09.02 gives no OSD in HW mode.
Compariison:
- 4.75 no issues
- 4.8x slider function bad, half of all my recordings won't play, but they play in 4.75, on Win2k or Win98SE with w9x update. No other issues.
- 4.86 test version, crash on Play
