ProgDVB Standard >5.10 doesn't work

Hi,
at first, sorry for my bad english... I'm from Germany ;-)
Thanks for the great program! With Win Vista I used the 5.x versions and they worked fine. But a week ago my 5.10 standard said that this version is too old and that I have to update it.
I updated to 5.11.2 (5.11.3 the same) and I allways get this message:

"H.264/AVC and DVB-S2 supported only in Pro version of ProgDVB."

But I don't use either H.264 or SVB-S2. In the older versions id worked without any problems...

Does anyone have an idea how I can solve this?
Thanks!

My system:
Vista Business 32 Bit
Technisat Skystar 2 PCI

Thanks, hopefully this will be fixed in the next version...
Unfortunately the 5.10 doesnt work with the message, that its too old (I dont know why there is such a restriction...) and I didnt want to use the 4.x versions again :-/ But maybe I have to...
bye, Pio

Try to be precise...

What exactly was that message about, and what precisely did not work anymore after that?
Did ProgDVB itself stop working, or did you 'just' have no sound and vision anymore, and another error message on every station change, but TXT, EPG, scanning, recording, everything else still working?

AFAIK the ProgDVB version itself should not have been limited, but the Elecard codec demo, that came with it and you may have installed and used for the full evaluation period.

Using another codec (you may already have from another software like PowerDVB, f.e.) or buying Elecard should have helped then.

Even the original software for your card should have come with a set of codecs (for SD at least), that can perhaps be 'borrowed' for ProgDVB.

OK, then I try again...

All versions are the standard versions and in the options, direct show, I selected ffdshow-filtergraphs, which I made with graphedit. As I said, this worked well done in the past.

Version 5.10 stops at the loading screen with the error

"This test version of ProgDVB ist too old. Please update it from www.progdvb.com"

When I click on OK, ProgDVB quits and doesn't start.

When I start the newer versions, I get this message at the loader screen:

"H.264/AVC and DVB-S2 supported only in Pro version of ProgDVB."

After this, ProgDVB starts with no vidoe and audio. When I go through the channels, I allways get the same message. When I select ffdshow, I get this message, too.
The technisat-driver is the newest, 441, and the DVBViewer TE edition works fine.

I hope, this can halp, thank you!

I don't have suitable hardware to test this right now.

So it seems, you have to either wait until Prog may occasionally read and perhaps respond here or to mail him, in simple english or in russian.

And someone is playing around with this server right now, obviously...
This for, I'm leaving for now.
All of you, have a nice weekend.

Did anyone else get this message yet? I never got it.. and also setting the system date in the future and starting ProgDVB 5.x did not lead to this message.

Hi,

I have exactly the same problem. Even if there is no video graph selected, I get the popup.
