Hi,
I'm used Cinergy 1200 DVB-C tuner with last DBA drivers, on XP SP2.
I tried to use ProgDVB 5.11.08 or 5.12 with same result.

After scanning all French numéricable transponders, I have a stranger issue on only 2 HD Channels.

All mpeg2 channel : OK
Arte HD : OK
LUXE TV HD : OK
NRJ 12 HD : OK

TF1 HD : KO (black screen, no error message, no video, no sound)
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC HD : KO (black screen, no error message, no video, no sound)
EPG is correct on these HD channels

I checked SID, PID, PMT, ..... in channel's settings and all is ok

Impossible to start recording using TS format on these two channels.

Can you help me?

Reagrds.

Problem with subscription?

I think no, because HD channels on numericable are free.
And also because after scanning or update HD channel properties, channel's information setup "Scrambled" value to not checked.

It is not easy detect free channel or not...

PS: What satellite?

It's not a "satellite" but DVB-Cable. And provider is numericable (ex-NOOS), french DVB-C provider.

Hi,
I have the same problem with Astra and DVB-S2 channels there.
I also get a black windows, no sound, no error message and a correct EPG.
I tried different free channels (like SAT1HD, Pro7HD, ...).

Well, we don't have access to french cable, as it's not allowed, to dump coaxial extension cables into river Rhine...

On satellite things may be easier. First find out the relevant IDs, like from satcodx, then check channel props.
Perhaps also try PID recorder, once for each.
Cable users might have to ask their provider or a working receiver.

It's not a codec or PID error, must be an error in the progdvb h264 splitter or directshow module.
AltDVB and Technotrend BDA Mediacenter both have no problem viewing these channels. Also the error is the same in Vista 32bit and XP 32bit here.
DVB-Card is a Technotrend Budget 3200.
I also never get any error message on h264 graphs, even when selecting codecs that are not installed.
Also the filter properties window is always completely empty, no codec is loaded at all.
Hope there is a solution soon as I just upgraded to progdvb professional to watch and record h264 movies.

I told this, to perhaps let us get some closer to the source of your problem.

If being able to record a PID, this makes sure, it's correct and can be used.
Getting zero file size would mean, obvilously invalid stream ID.

This is all now from me, as I don't have any chance, to test HD stuff properly over here.

The PID Recorder can record the PIDs of the H264 stream and the recorded data can be played back without any problem. So the data on these specific PIDs is correct. And as I already said, the EPG data of the HD channels is also shown when tuning to them, the green marker on the bottom left is also shown, so the channel is tuned correctly.
The ProgDVB record function does not record anything at all, it does not even creates 0 byte files.

This is a collection of helpful details, that might perhaps help Prog helping you.

Best would surely be, to put all this into an e-mail for him, if he does not respond directly here soon.

Hm. It is very strange. On this h264 channel? In TS mode?

Theses HD channels work correctly with DVB Viewer but not with ProgDVB. And once again theses HD channels are free.

Can you record 1-2 minutes sample in TS and put on HTTP/FTP?
